John A. Overton, Jr., CEO
John founded Overton & Ogburn Associates, Inc. in 1976, and has served since then as president and CEO. Along with partners Dennis Carolan and Denny Kanuck, John oversees Overton & Associates, LLC. With 40 years of experience in commercial construction, John is responsible for the strategic planning and vision of both our firm and our real estate development arm, Overton & Ogburn Associates, Inc. He is actively involved in creating long-standing client relationships and helping clients find the best facility solutions.
Dennis T. Carolan, Partner and Vice President
Dennis has been with Overton & Associates since 1986 and has 30 years experience in commercial construction. He is responsible for the management of all company production, including construction, mill shop operations, and production personnel. He is involved in all stages of our construction projects, ensuring that the quality standards of Overton & Associates are maintained.
Denise P. Kanuck, Partner and Vice President
Denny has been with the company since its inception. A licensed interior designer, she is responsible for marketing, sales, and consulting services. She is experienced in retail design and strategic real estate planning for financial institutions. Denny specializes in developing resources for the company and continuing education for staff members. Creating and sustaining close, valued client relationships is one of her primary goals.
Steven Larsen, Vice President Design and Architecture
Steve has been with Overton & Associates since 1984. He is experienced in architectural and site design for financial institutions. Steve is responsible for managing architectural and design projects, the coordination of external engineering resources and management of our design staff. His experience has enabled us to continually expand our creative portfolio and bring our clients’ facility visions to fruition.
Robert Scanlan, Vice President and Chief Estimator
Bob has been with the firm since 1979, beginning his company career as a construction supervisor. His hands-on experience has given him special expertise, and he understands the construction industry intimately. As chief estimator, Bob is responsible for all project budgets and construction estimates.
John Partilla. Vice President Strategic Planning
John has more than 37 years experience in facilities planning and implementation for commercial properties and financial institutions. He has firsthand experience in disaster recovery and educates customers to deal with real life disaster scenarios. John is responsible for overseeing the Bridgeville office and envisioning opportunities for Overton & Associates.
Daniel Gottleib, Vice President Sales
Dan has more than 35 years experience in Sales and Management for a variety of Fortune 1000 companies. As the newest member of our team, he is responsible for management of Business Development and Sales for the Organization.
Lisa Schuster, Comptroller
Lisa has more than 16 years experience in corporate accounting. With her background in business and accounting she has worked for local as well as national companies. Lisa is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting at Overton & Associates.
